Is there a difference between a facial cleanser and a facial scrub?

I was at the store, buying my normal soap for my face.. when I noticed that there were two. They looked nearly identical. Same price. But the cleanser had two ounces more, so I picked that one. But what is the difference between Clean and Clear Morning Burst cleanser and scrub?Is there a difference between a facial cleanser and a facial scrub?
a cleanser is some form of soap with additives like lotion, aloe vera etc. a scrub has and abrasive in it (like sand paper but gentler) a scrub applied with force removes a thin layer of skin. a scrub applied gently removes dead skin. Use a scrub gently on the face very gently until you see how it affects your skin. Ground appricot pit is often used as the abrasive. A young girl should avoid scrub. If you have facial problems like acne also avoid scrub or use with dr approval.
