those skin ';polish and scrubs'; are mean to remove dead skin cells that might not have been washed way when you cleanse. It's good to use it once a week:





-after washing your face, put a small amount of it in your palm





-rub your hands together to distribute and then apply to your face [note: it's not supposed to lather or anything]





-rub in GENTLE circular motions avoiding eye area and lip areas

it depends if the product promises to brighten complexion, and are more designed for pigmentation.. but u have nothing to worry about with a scrub.. all it does is removes the dead skin cells, and prevents dead skin build up, which causes pimples.. u wont go lighter.. and depends on how harsh the product is, to decide how often you should use it.. u may have a daily exfoliant.. otherwise i suggest u scrub it into ur face and neck for approx 2mins twice a week
