First off, why are you using a harsh scrub? This scrub strips your skin of your natural oils, so if you are dehydrated (which can cause an overproduction of oil so you will think you are oily) you are seriously hurting your skin. You need to get your skin analyzed by a professional and see what type of skin you have so you can have your own personal skin care regimen. As with any product, you really shouldn't wash your face more than 2-3 times a day (3 max)-- washing too much (especially with salycillic acid cleansers like clean and clear) can cause your sebacious glands to overcompensate by producing more oil, and therefore worsen your acne or greasiness. You could try using clean and clear once a day and doing the rest of your washing with a more mild product.





For example, I often use Clean and Clear Continuous Control Acne Wash or Clinique exfoliating scrub before bed, to remove dirt and oil from the day), and then use Cetaphil moisturizing cleanser in the morning (this cleanser is so mild that you can actually just wipe it off your face without washing; it feels like lotion-- but it's totally light and oil-free). This way, i keep my skin feeling clean and fresh but i also prevent over-drying and its counterproductive side effects.

but dont forget to put lotion on your face after your done washing it so it doesn't get dried out.


and never use a body lotion for your face or anything thats like apples or perfumed.


just simple lotion like aveeno, or idk.

usually twice daily
when you wake up and before bed
twice. in the when u wake and at days end
